Gasthaus Zur Blume in Hausach

Lovely place to stay and the lady running it is a font of knowledge friendly and helpful the room was immaculate and the shower was massive. There are shops opposite and a supermarket 4 mins walk. All in all a great place to stay and I would visit again.

A decent place to stay in Hausach. I stayed here for a week. The hotel is 3-5 mins walk away from Hausach station. I loved the cozy room which was very clean and equipped with almost all the amenities required during my stay. The breakfast buffet at the hotel restaurant is free. The restaurant has an outside seating space where you can enjoy the meals during summer. I loved the food, especially the black forest cake and the different types of cheese they served during the breakfast. To mention, the owner lady and the gentleman were very hospitable. The lady helped me chose the German food suiting my taste and visit the nearby castle. I will always remember it :) It would have added to the convenience if the hotel had an elevator and some sturdy umbrellas for the rains Might be you'll think that I'm in the middle of nowhere because Hausach is located in the heart of the Black Forest but you have Aldi, Lidl and other local supermarkets within a distance of 400m from the hotel. There are some local restaurants nearby which you can reach easily within 10-12 mins of walking. Also, a 30 mins walk in the direction of Hausach station will take you to the city center with some good options for shopping, eateries and Husen Castle. I loved sitting on the bank of the river Kinzig and enjoyed the view of the amazing Black Forest and this beautiful place - Hausach. I will recommend staying at hotel Gasthaus Zur Blume if most of the time you are out visiting places or at your office, during a business trip as there's not much to do inside the hotel apart from good food and rooms to relax.

We stopped by for a coffee here. Their lunch and food hours were closed but the old lady (probably the owner) said she can arrange for coffee and cake. Since we wanted to sit outside she also offered us warm blankets! Felt so warm and welcoming in a foreign country.
